I had a really fun weekend. Grab some decaf or tea and join me for Monday Morning Coffee evening edition.
Last Monday morning coffee I mentioned about the USA turban on groopdealz. They sold out, I added inventory and they SOLD OUT again! Amazing! I am blown away and excited for the opportunity to spread the word about my business. Can't wait to see all the photos of people and their little ones showing their USA pride. But first I have to make the headbands!
As you know last Wednesday was my birthday (read about how I feel about turning 25). I spent the day with my mom, who I feel like I never see because our schedules are opposite. We had a nice day together.
Over the weekend I went to the city with Jeff to celebrate my birthday. We unfortunately don't live together which makes it frustrating at times not being able to spend as much time together as we'd like. Trips like this are really great to reconnect and "bond" (as he would say). We went got massages and went to our all time favorite bagel place (Brooklyn Bagel and Coffee Co, if you're in the area, check it out). Afterward we checked into our room and headed uptown to explore and grab a bite to eat at the 79th street boat basin. What a beautiful view. The clouds were rolling in so we darted out of there and headed back to the hotel to hang. We then went to this comedy club downtown which was actually hilarious. I am weird with comedy. I don't like Saturday night live or Comedy Central or anything like that so I never know how I'll feel about things like this. But I was plesantly surprised. Afterward we went to our favorite burger place called Rare Bar and Grill. I got to choose and although it might a been good to switch it up, don't fix what's not broken right? It was so much fun!
Currently I am working on meditation cushions for a friends final project of her masters and finishing up the Groopdealz wrap headbands. Never a dull moment!
Thanks for reading. I'll leave you with some photos from the weekend/week.
